A Blessed Day At Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre

I also wanted to show all of you my blessed adventure of going to Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre. It was wonderful! In the Visiter's Guide it says: "Fire destroyed the first Basilica in 1922. Construction of the present Basilica began the following year, inspired by great Romanesque cathedrals". Isn't that so interesting! I hope you like the pics! Enjoy!

(above) These are the crutches of men and
                                                    women who were miraculously healed.

                                                    (above) St. Teresa.

(above and below) This is the arm bone
of St. Anne, The Virgin Mary's mother.

(above) This was one of my favorite
                                                     statues.

(above) This tiled mosaic is depicting hell.
(below) This tiled mosaic is depicting Heaven.

(above) This may look like the actual Pieta,
but it is not. It is an exact replica.

(above) If you look at the cross in the middle, which Christ is hanging from, it                                                looks there is blood dripping down.
