My Story

Hey there! My name is Victoria. I am eighteen and would love to share my experiences with you on my adventures while living in Canada and then back again to the States. I first arrived in Canada in July, 2013. First and foremost, I am going to say that this was a God thing. When I first arrived in Canada, I was confused and bitterly frustrated. However, I came to realize that this was where God had called me for the moment. I was exhausted when I arrived (the trip had been 18 hours long in the car). During the first month that my family and I had lived in Canada, we stayed  in a four story house in the Old City of Quebec. I felt as if I was reliving a Sherlock Holmes story. The house was old and was extremely dusty. No one had rented it for a long time. Hmmm, I wonder why..... Anyway, after the first month, we moved to a small village called Ste - Foy outside of the city.  We had some great experiences while in Ste - Foy. Oh, and did I mention that the native language is French? Yep, French. The second hardest language in the world, but the most beautiful in my opinion (other than Japanese). Also, I did not even know that the "Great White North" had a season of summer..... shocker, right? But, of course, there is always a catch... We happened to move here during the year of the biggest, coldest, and freezing winter in a hundred years!!! Did I mention C-O-L-D?! Last year, my family and I moved a little farther west of Quebec, but in the same general vicinity. Now we have moved back to my home country and can't wait to embark on the many wonderful adventures that lay before me! I hope you stick around and find out what happens next!
