At the Beach

Hello my loyal readers! I'm sorry for not posting lately, but hopefully I can make it up to you guys by posting a lot more this month before I go back to school. I had to take pre-calculus over the summer for a mini 8 week semester. Fortunately, now I only need to take calculus and micro-economics in the fall semester then I graduate from community college! As a result of my busy past couple of weeks, I haven't been posting stuff lately. But now I am finally able to relax and take it easy after being at the beach. My family and I had vacationed at Hatteras, NC for about a week. I haven't been at Hatteras since I was about ten when my cousin and my older brother, and I came here with our grandparents. Over the course of the week, my family and I found many beautiful shells, got coffee at a cute cafe, went to a kite festival at the Wright Memorial, and played cards before going to bed and did much more. I hope you guys love the pictures! 😄

Alert: Cuteness Ahead! Totoro Crochet!!!!!!

Hey everyone! Christmas break has finally started and I am ready to kick back and crochet! Right now I am currently working on a Totoro Amigurumi! Sooooooo cute! I will definitely post pictures of my progress and send one of the final product, of course 😉! I am about half way done with it now and hopefully will be done with it by Christmas! The funny thing is that I was not expecting it to be soo stinkin' big! The pattern that I am using said that it was only going to be 12" tall, but that's how big it is now and I am only half way!!!! So it is kind of awkward crocheting this huge thing partly because it has to be stuffed while I crochet it, making it heavier than normal... But it is going to be soooo cute when it is done😍!!!

A Break in the Winter... Spring?

Hey all! Hope you are all having a wonderful afternoon. It is absolutely beautiful here today! When I woke early this morning for my 8 o'clock class, it was really cold. Thankfully, it warmed up and I was wearing a short sleeve shirt by the afternoon! It felt wonderful not to have to wear layers upon layers of clothing! I love it! Does this mean that spring is in the air? ;) Additionally, school is also going very well. I am keeping up my grades and have had a better time this semester keeping up with my work. I hope it stays this way! We shall see! ;) Oh, and guess what?! I am now a violin teacher! Not professionally of course, but I am will be teaching the two sweetest little girls ever! I feel so lucky! There first lesson with me is next week! Can't wait! :)
