Christmas Break and Pics Update

Hey everyone! I hope all of you have had a wonderful Christmas break! I know I have! I am all rested up and ready for another semester! Unfortunately, I have been unable to give you guys pics of my experiences in my blog for awhile. The reason for this being that my new laptop has no SD card input and CD player, which I need to put the new software CD of my new camera in... However, after a longer process, I finally figured it all out! So I am going to give you guys all of the pictures from my graduation to the present! YAY! :D Hope you guys enjoy!

Alert! Thanksgiving Break

Hey Everyone! I am so excited! I am going to be off for thanksgiving break day after tomorrow! I am sooooooooo excited!!!! Hopefully during that period of time I can get you guys some pics. I haven't been able to give you guys pics since I was in Canada! Sorry about that.... Maybe I can get some really nice pictures of the Thanksgiving dinner for you guys! Even though most of the leaves are gone from the trees, I am sure I can take some really nice pics of our forest trail also! I would also love to take a picture of my violin in the forest! That would be really cool! :D

School, School, and.... More School!

Hey Everyone!.... I can't believe I am typing this at 12:08 AM..... Oh well. I guess I get very creative at night, or something. I'm not sure. Anyway! I hope the school year for all of you peeps is going well and I hope you are making the coolest grades yet! :D College is the hardest thing ever! Don't let any adult-that-went-to-college-and-is-a-genius tell you otherwise! I have heard most of my life that college is a piece of cake and that we should not worry about it. Wrong! College is one of the most important things ever, and if you screw up you're basically dead meat. So, no pressure, right? :D One of the toughest things for me on the first week of college was my backpack. I know that sounds stupid, but its true! I have been home schooled for the majority of my life, and never had to wear one of the honkin' things. Its quite ridiculous.... The first week was a nightmare (this isn't meant to frighten, nor offend, any home schoolers out there!)! I was not only weighed down by stress and anxiety, but also a monstrous bag filled with books! Awful, right? Well, I have witnessed every day this semester people wearing backpacks, and have I a hunch that most of them were not home schooled. Concluding, that they must be used to this horrible-back-aching torture. Well they're not dead yet, so I guess that proves something, right? Other than that, school isn't all too bad. I have met some amazing (and interesting) people. The only thing that really annoys me is the clubs. They stock you everywhere!!!! They finally stopped once they figured out I wasn't interested in joining their club. Plus, I am really too busy to be bothered with that right now.... Also, the last day to drop out without affecting your GPA scores was on the October 26, so a lot of people have dropped class. Well I have to go! Talk to you peeps later! :D Good luck with your studies!

School and Work Update

Hey everyone! School and work are going great! I have met a lot of very nice people! My classes are challenging, but I am making very good grades. I can't wait to finish, though, and be surrounded by nothing, but music. If you didn't know, I am going to attempt to major in violin performance. I absolutely love the violin! My current private instructor is very encouraging and helpful. Because of all of the moving in the past, I have been unable to really progress the way I wanted. However, I have made great strides, or so my professor says... I feel like I am going snail speed right now.... Work is going good as well. The people I work with are very kind and sincere. When I walk in the door for my shift, I am greeted with kind, smiling faces. What a wonderful place to work! Oh and before I forget! I have been looking for some things for my music study. Just a few things... Okay!... a lot of stuff.... But that's why I have you guys! :) I would love any advice! I need help with:

1. To find a great music theory book
2. To find a great music school for violin performance major
3. To find a great violin (the reason for this being, that my old violin is not the best and is really worn out...)
4. To find a great violin bow (same reason as the violin, but also that it is a carbon fiber bow, and I have been informed by my professor that I need to get a new bow that is specifically made of wood.)
5. To find cool, classical pieces to play ;)

Thanks so much for all of your help! Also, I would appreciate any advice on violin practicing, such as, how to have a regular practice schedule when you have so much school work and work to do. Oh! And advice on auditioning for the violin at a university and what to expect! Thanks again! :D Hope to hear from you guys soon! :D

Long Time, No See...

Okay. I admit it. I have not written a post for sometime now... But now I am :D I have been super busy with school, work, and all of the above. I am now attending community college and I am having a blast! The people I have met so far, are so amazing and open. Thankfully, there is no peer pressure in college, so I have one less thing to stress about. Class are challenging, always keeping me on my feet, but they are also a lot of fun. I enjoy learning new things, so this is certainly the place to be. Work is also fun. The people that I work with are very encouraging and kind. I have also met new people at the church here. Everyone is so open and kind, I feel like I am apart of one big happy family! :D The weather here is beginning to change as well. Autumn is on it's way....
